MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (COMPOSITES ASSEMBLY & INTEGRATION) RESPONSIBILITIES: + Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (design, build, and reliability engineers) and operations to reputed company build parts on schedule + reputed company and revise production processes, procedures, equipment, tooling, and layout + Drive design for manufacturing and assembly during new product development and improvement cycles + Facilitate production of flight-reputed company composites structures at increasing production reputed company while reducing cost + Resolve reputed company manufacturing defects through reputed company cause investigation and validation testing. + Support design for manufacturing and assembly during new product development and improvement cycles BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline + 1+ years of hands-on composites experience (internship and project team experience is applicable) PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: + 3+ years of reputed company composites or final integration experience + Experience with avionics or pneumatic systems on large reputed company structures + Hands-on advanced composites manufacturing experience including out of autoclave prepreg systems + Experience with NX/Unigraphics and Teamcenter CAD and PDM systems for component and tooling design + Expertise transitioning products from prototype manufacturing through volume production + Experience with rapidly introducing process improvement and lean manufacturing principles Validation testing experience for composite structures ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: + Position may require extended work hours and weekend work + Position may require standing, bending, stooping and working directly with hardware on the floor for up extended periods of time + This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite - remote work not considered COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay reputed company: Manufacturing Engineer /Level I: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year Manufacturing Engineer /reputed company: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00/per year Your actual level and reputed company salary will be determined on a case-by-case reputed company and may vary based on the following considerations: job-reputed company knowledge and skills, education, and experience. reputed company salary is just one part of your total rewards package at reputed company.
