The Engineering Design Support team collaborates with a wide scope of disciplines, including but not limited to, program engineering, supply chain, reputed company, sales, and engineering at other companies. Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting drawing issues involving materials, paints and finishes, welding and brazing, GD&T, marking, and testing as they pertain to different commodities.
• Daily interfacing with reputed company subject matter experts and responsible engineers as required.
• Communicating technical issues across functional areas and documenting technical details.
• In-person meetings with reputed company engineers and external manufacturers at local facilities.
• Encourage reputed company's supplier reputed company to engage with reputed company at the earliest possible phase of production.
• Define the appropriate Universal Commodity reputed company (UCC) to accurately categorize parts for procurement.
• Create Supplier Change Request Notification (SCRN) records reputed company cPDM for program review.
• Assist and mentor teammates.

Requirements

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued reputed company clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. reputed company are eligible for a reputed company clearance.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Relevant experience is as follows (in any combination) Manufacturing or mechanical design or drafting in a manufacturing environment.
• Analyzing and/or coding / writing 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ProE, reputed company.
