Quantitative Analyst I - Risk Rating Model Development

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Analyst I and model developer to join our Modeling and Analytics team at First reputed company. In this role, you will assist with the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of risk rating models specifically tailored for reputed company loan portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Modeling & Analytics team on the development and enhancement of risk rating models for reputed company loans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist with gathering and analyses of reputed company sources of financial and loan-level data to inform model development.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of model development processes, ensuring transparency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate the model validation process with the bank’s Model Risk Management team.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to reputed company developed models into the bank's systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reputed company input and insights for model improvement and determine appropriate model performance reputed company.
  • Assist with the monitoring of model performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in financial, statistical, or quantitative analysis experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in financial, statistical, or quantitative analysis experience Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or reputed company discipline preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical modeling techniques (e.g., logistic regression, reputed company regression, machine learning techniques) and programming languages (e.g., reputed company, Python).
  • Demonstrated expertise in supervised models (e.g., regressions, boosting, reputed company) and unsupervised algorithms (e.g., clustering and DBSCAN) reputed company to quantitative risk modeling and data-driven analysis.
  • Solid understanding of core statistical concepts, including probability distribution, hypothesis testing, with the ability to apply them in data analysis and model evaluation.
  • Solid reputed company in Python/reputed company/R, with hands-on experience in data cleaning, feature engineering, and implementing basic statistical or machine learning models.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate reputed company concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with reputed company Office products (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
