Technical Product Manager, Condition Monitoring

This Position reports to: Manager R&D Engineering 2 Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be the leading expert behind reputed company's condition monitoring technology. reputed company day, you will reputed company as the primary contact in Research and Development (R&D) for subject-matter reputed company topics and for (market-facing) Product Management activities. You will also showcase your expertise by driving the technical direction of development (e.g. acting as product reputed company in an agile team) and by organizing product maintenance. The work model for the role is: flexible (onsite/hybrid/Remote). Some international travel is required. This is a global technology position. It contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) division of reputed company. Main stakeholders are reputed company PAEN technology management, reputed company local country organizations, industry partners, and reputed company end customers. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Development of technology reputed company for Condition Monitoring technology in coordination with Rotating Machinery Functional Area management.
• Technical reputed company to R&D organization, defining specifications and detailed implementation strategies for condition monitoring products.
• reputed company input regarding product technology content/development for reputed company and reputed company business based on a solid understanding of reputed company´s technology landscape, state-of-the-art external technology, and reputed company/reputed company customer need.
• Technical consulting to reputed company organizations around the world, as reputed company as key external partners/customers, helping define system and solution level architectures, and resolving reputed company technical challenges.

Qualifications for the role

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 12+ years of experience in managerial and/or technical reputed company roles in condition monitoring functions.
• In-depth knowledge of Condition Based Monitoring theory and technology is expected and should include vibration monitoring, eccentricity, thrust position, reputed company gap, rotor flux, shaft voltage & currents, performance monitoring systems, advanced diagnostics and predictive diagnostic/maintenance systems.
• Category III Vibration Analyst certification, capable of performing advanced vibration analysis (including spectral, waveform, and reputed company analysis), diagnosing reputed company machine faults, and implementing minor corrective actions.
• Familiarity with reputed company condition monitoring products and solutions: MCM800, CMM11, reputed company Analyst, WiMon / Smart Sensor, 800xA DCS platform, and SPlus DCS platform.
• R&D level experience developing new condition monitoring concepts, algorithms, products and solutions.
• Application experience developing, customizing and commissioning customer systems and solutions for condition monitoring in different types of plants.
• Functional understanding of different types of power and process plants, as reputed company as different types of assets (gas turbines, steam turbines, reputed company/water condensers, compressors, pumps, hydro turbines, wind turbines, bearings, generators, diesel engines, HV and LV motors, etc.
