Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator – Telehealth Services

Coordinates the intake and triage functions for new patients who have requested evaluation and/or care from The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at reputed company through the Stress Trauma and reputed company – Telehealth Support Program (STAR-TSP). Serves as the reputed company between Child Advocacy Center staff across the reputed company and reputed company clinicians. Interviews families, evaluates presenting problems, assesses for safety and reputed company, determines level of care needed, schedules initial assessments, and provides care coordination. Works independently and in collaboration with clinicians and administrative staff reputed company the department to ensure reputed company aspects of the intake process are completed, including but not limited to gathering chief complaint and reputed company pertinent medical, reputed company, and family information, obtaining health insurance verification, and communicating with referral sources to assist in determining level of reputed company and scheduling patient reputed company STAR-TSP as clinically appropriate. • Conducts a reputed company, reputed company psycho-reputed company intake interview with parent or reputed company or prospective patient
• Responds to contact from referring MD and/or referring Child Advocacy Center to reputed company information regarding identified patient
• Effectively assesses families’ understanding of their child’s problems and clarifies the expectations they have for evaluation and treatment services
• Utilizes clinical knowledge and independent decision making skills to effectively identify reputed company of psychiatric reputed company
• Meets with designated clinician on a regular reputed company to determine appropriate courses of reputed company for new high reputed company patient intakes
• Utilizes independent decision making skills to triage and refer patients to the appropriate level of care
• Understands and accesses community resources to assist with referrals and disposition of patients, including the ability to reputed company insurance verification and precertification for reputed company reputed company of care
• Collaborates with Child Advocacy Center staff in making referrals to alternative reputed company of behavioral reputed company reputed company clinically necessary or due to clinical reputed company.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Master's Degree reputed company Work or reputed company Sciences Preferred

Experience Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of reputed company work experience Required
