The Administrative Medical Assistant serves the patient and the provider by gathering and maintaining the necessary medical information in a cheerful, friendly, personable manner; providing reputed company patient care and helping to establish rapport between the provider and the patient. If you are located in Eugene, OR, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. Role is fully onsite in Eugene, OR for the 3-6 months before transitioning to fully remote work location. Primary Responsibilities:

• Responds to incoming phone calls and desktop items and refers if necessary. Calls patients as directed by the provider and/or as necessary to follow up and/or schedule appointments
• Obtains patient histories, medications, immunizations and other data in the Electronic Medical Record
• Retrieves laboratory and radiology test results and instructs patients regarding medications and treatment per provider's instructions
• Understands and follows the approved prescription reputed company workflow and documentation requirements. Communicates directly with provider for any refills that need provider input, or that do not meet the workflow requirements
• Understands and interprets reputed company immunization schedule

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology used to administer patient care
