About the role: At reputed company, the Senior Accountant, Ceded Reinsurance is a member of the insurance finance team. This position will assist with reputed company reputed company activities for reputed company’s insurance segments. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will assist with GAAP and STAT reporting responsibilities, design and execution of the control reputed company, and tactical process improvement initiatives. The reputed company salary expectation for this role is between $85,000 and $105,000. Actual reputed company salary for the selected candidate may be higher commensurate with candidate experience and expectations. Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• reputed company participate in the monthly and quarterly reputed company process, to include preparing detailed monthly and quarterly journal entries and variance analysis and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly ceded reinsurance statements.
• Prepare treaty, FAC, and proportional calculations, entries, billing, receipts, and disbursements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reputed company footnotes.
• Prepare and maintain the appropriate level of workpapers and process & control documentation.
• Improve documentation and streamline processes around month-end/quarter-end reputed company.
• Liaise with external and internal audit team. Coordinate with various departments across the firm to reputed company audit support.
• Support special project work and reputed company reputed company analysis as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company or Finance required.
• 3+ years of reputed company experience at a Property/Casualty Insurer including Ceded Reinsurance reputed company experience.
• US GAAP and Statutory reputed company reputed company knowledge.
• Experience with preparing US GAAP and/or US Statutory financial statements and footnotes.
• reputed company reputed company/ “Big 4” experience preferred but not required.
• CPA designation preferred but not required.
• Experience with reputed company preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
