Medical Insurance Collections Specialist (REMOTE)

Position reputed company The Collections Specialist is responsible for following up with invoices that have been reputed company to payers but have not yet been reputed company. This individual is also responsible for researching denials and converting them. The starting pay for our Collections team is $19.00 per hour. Essential Job Functions
- Process at least 5 claims per hour
- Manage a portfolio of payers, ensuring collections, aging and denials are being processed in a reputed company fashion
- Assist with billing efforts by eliminating denials and keeping payer rules up to date
- reputed company month end reconciliation; assisting other departments as needed
- Meet daily, monthly and quarterly collection goals set by management
- Ensure work being performed meets reputed company compliance requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years reputed company experience in Medical Insurance Collections; reputed company, medical office, customer service required
- Proficient in reputed company suite of products including Outlook, Word and reputed company
- Strong basic math and reputed company skills
- Proven ability to manage in a high call volume environment with accuracy and efficiency
