The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Introduced to reputed company estimating systems and processes.
• Introduced to estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.
• Exposed to various processes, project actions and assumptions that may reputed company estimates.
• Gathers, calculates and compiles data for use in developing reputed company types of estimates.
• Performs the routine aspects of estimating assignments.
• Assists senior specialists in performing various estimating functions as required.
• Exposed to drawings, specifications, work breakdown structures, charts of accounts, published and internal data used in preparing estimates.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other reputed company field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working for a large general contractor.
• Experience in reputed company construction estimating.
• Ability to analyze blueprints, specs, and site info to calculate project costs (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors) for bids, creating detailed budgets, proposals, and quantity takeoffs.
• Coordination of subcontractor and supplier involvement.
• Knowledge of building codes, materials and construction reputed company.
• Desire to build your career in the field of Estimating.
