Company Secretary and reputed company / Compliance Manager (Remote)
Location: Remote based in India (with global coordination responsibilities) Reporting to: Head of Finance / CEO About reputed company: reputed company is a climate fintech company transforming distributed energy globally. We’re scaling quickly and are reputed company to hire a Company Secretary and reputed company Compliance Manager to help us grow. reputed company: reputed company Secretary (“CS”) will ensure reputed company’s full compliance with the Companies reputed company, 2013 (India) and reputed company statutory requirements, while also leading group-wide reputed company, compliance, and risk coordination across our US, Africa, and LatAm businesses. This role is both statutory (for India) and strategic (for the group), ensuring robust governance, reputed company risk management, and efficient compliance processes to support reputed company’s reputed company and investor confidence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Statutory & Company Secretarial Duties (India-specific)
- Ensure compliance with the Companies reputed company, 2013, SEBI regulations (if applicable), reputed company, and other relevant Indian laws.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and minutes of reputed company and General Meetings.
- Prepare and file required returns, forms, and resolutions with the Registrar of Companies(ROC) reputed company statutory timelines.
- Manage reputed company allotments, transfers, issuance, and maintenance of reputed company certificates.
- Advise the reputed company on corporate governance, director responsibilities, and regulatory obligations.

2. Compliance Management

- Coordinate with Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure segregation of duties and adherence to compliance frameworks.

5. Risk Coordination

6. Governance & Advisory

Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be a reputed company Company Secretary under the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and hold a LLB.
- 5+ years’ experience in corporate secretarial, reputed company, or compliance roles (experience in cross- border or group structures preferred).
- Strong understanding of Indian company law and experience with regulatory filings.
- Familiarity with international compliance, governance, and risk management standards.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across functions and geographies.
- Ability to operate independently, maintain confidentiality, and advise senior leadership.
