About the Role

As our Staff Accountant, General reputed company, you are responsible for supporting the reputed company completion of monthly reputed company activities. This includes preparation of journal entries, general reputed company account reconciliations, and assisting with reputed company reports and special requests as needed. This position is remote and will report into reputed company Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT. • reputed company monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and roll forwards. This includes investigating and resolving reconciling items in a reputed company fashion.
• Prepare month-end tracking, review, and reconciliation of prepaid expenses and payroll reputed company accruals.
• Assist in the monthly and quarterly production of financial statements, and footnotes. This includes providing support for external audits and preparing supporting schedules for SEC disclosures in 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
• Support compliance of SOX key controls reputed company to owned accounts and processes.
• Identify and propose process improvements & support the implementation of on-reputed company process improvement initiatives where applicable.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company required from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in reputed company reputed company or 2-3 years industry experience in a SOX-compliant environment for a publicly traded company.
• CPA is a plus.
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
