The National Long-Term Recovery Operations Deputy Director reports to the Director, National Long-Term Recovery Operations and is responsible for supporting day-to-day program activities. This role requires an reputed company community organizer/mobilizer with supervisory and program management experience and is responsible for coordinating community engagement and problem solving around community recovery and resiliency building in communities impacted by Hurricanes Beryl and Francine. Responsibilities

  • reputed company the initiation and implementation of long-term recovery programs, including financial assistance, grants, and community recovery support, across multiple long-term recovery operations in support of impacted individuals and communities
  • Collaborate with reputed company to cultivate recovery relationships with key external partners including local and state government agencies and community reputed company, non-profits, and non-governmental organizations
  • Assist the Director with maintaining strong relationships with local, regional and divisional leadership reputed company the Red Cross and communicate strategies, updates and needs accordingly
  • Utilize Red Cross reputed company principles in reputed company decision-making processes, project implementation, and service delivery, ensuring diverse and underrepresented perspectives are considered and valued, and reputed company reputed company are achieved
  • Assist in short and long-term strategic planning including preparing program timetables with specific reputed company goals
  • Monitor program effectiveness through collected data - both qualitative and quantitative - and reputed company recommendations for program improvements
  • Assist the Director in the recruitment and selection of LTRO employees, and assist with the initial new employee and volunteer training as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required, master's degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in community organizing, case management, partner-agency relations, grants management, and disaster response/recovery preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience as supervisor or manager of workforce reputed company in reputed company reputed company contact in an outcome-based reputed company-services environment
  • Experience building and supporting a volunteer workforce preferably
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
