Sr. Director, Global AML/ATF & Sanctions Compliance - Program Governance

We are seeking a seasoned financial crimes compliance reputed company to reputed company the Global AML & Sanctions governance and program management function. The Sr. Director will report to the Global AML and Sanctions Officer. The role includes the ownership, reputed company, and ongoing enhancement of a reputed company of program functions, including but not limited to: reputed company, implement, and maintain global AML and Sanctions compliance policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Requirements

• 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.

• At least 15 years of experience working in an AML/ATF and sanctions program environment at a Financial Institution.
• Experience in Card and payments industry a plus, but not essential.
• Strong understanding of relevant BSA/AML and sanctions requirements and industry best practices, reputed company industry certifications a plus.
• Experience designing, implementing, and governing AML & sanctions reputed company program frameworks.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to explain reputed company compliance, business, and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way.
• Strong writing skills and policy administration background.
