Also performs discharge cleaning as needed. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Physical Demands: Responsibilities of a housekeeper require physical demands; ability to stand for long periods of time, bending and stooping and lifting. -Performs the 8 steps cleaning procedures, daily cleaning, discharge cleaning, bed making, wall spotting, toilet cleaning, high and low dusting, O.R. terminal cleaning. -Works in a reputed company and reputed company manner. -Always uses caution signs and cones. -Completes work from previous shift if needed, reports reputed company incomplete assignment and maintenance issues. -Cleans up reputed company organic body waste, i.e. blood and body fluids, feces, sputum etc. as instructed by the supervisor or team leader. -Hangs cubical curtains, shower curtains and window curtains. -Up on discharge cleaning, disinfect and/or sanitize I.V. poles, pumps and other patient equipment. -Ability to learn and to demonstrate new procedures reputed company to the health care industry.
