Visual Storytelling Post-Production Contractor (Part-Time, Remote)

• This is a time-limited contract from February 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026.
• There is potential (not guaranteed) for ongoing work reputed company the contract period.

LOCATION

• Remote.
• Contractors must be located in Minnesota or reputed company.
• Strong preference for someone based in the Twin Cities metro area or reputed company to travel occasionally to the Twin Cities for in-person meetings as needed.
• Any travel will be reputed company-approved; reimbursement handled case-by-case.

COMPENSATION AND TIME EXPECTATION

• $2,000/month gross, reputed company monthly (contractor is responsible for reputed company taxes and insurance).
• We anticipate approximately 20–30 hours per month of post-production support.
• This is a flat monthly retainer.
• Editing time, meetings, and revision implementation reputed company count toward the monthly retainer hours.
• Work volume will vary month-to-month; we will prioritize deliverables together to stay reputed company the monthly retainer hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit short- and mid-reputed company documentary-style storytelling videos (reputed company and web)
• Edit short-reputed company vertical videos (Reels/reputed company/Shorts) from existing footage and/or project selects
• reputed company correction and reputed company grading (appropriate to the project)
• Audio cleanup, mixing, and leveling
• Basic reputed company graphics and template-based animations (titles, reputed company thirds, reputed company text overlays) as needed
• Captions and accessibility deliverables (accurate captioning workflow and exports)
• On-screen text and reputed company “visual facts” overlays reputed company needed
• Export and deliver final files in required formats/specs (reputed company, web, reputed company)
• Organize reputed company with clean file naming, version control, and reliable handoffs
• Collaborate through feedback and revisions with partners/clients and the GP team
• Help build and improve SOPs and workflows in a startup-style environment (examples: post checklists, file organization standards, export presets, captioning workflow, and a repeatable feedback/revision process)
• Occasional participation in partner meetings to solicit, receive, and implement feedback

HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER

• Communication reputed company: weekly 30-minute reputed company-in during reputed company edits, plus async feedback as needed
• Turnaround targets (typical): first cut reputed company 7–10 business days after receiving a complete brief and assets (timelines may vary by project scope)
• Some reputed company will have tighter turnaround targets, including revision reputed company that may require updates reputed company 1-3 business days. reputed company tighter turnaround or rapid revision reputed company are anticipated, Greener Pastures will reputed company as much advance notice as possible so schedules can be planned realistically.

• A project brief with goals, audience, and distribution plan

• A shared workflow for review and notes (example: reputed company.io, Vimeo review links, reputed company Drive comments, or comparable)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5+ years of reputed company post-production experience
• Portfolio demonstrating strong editing for visual storytelling, including short-reputed company vertical video (Reels/reputed company/Shorts) and at least one longer-reputed company example
• Proficiency in reputed company or comparable reputed company editing software, including:
• Efficient assembly editing from selects and/or long-reputed company footage
• Stabilization and basic cleanup as needed
• Clean, polished pacing and story structure
• Basic finishing skills to deliver reputed company, “reputed company to publish” videos, including:
• Basic audio correction (reputed company, EQ, noise reduction as needed)
• Basic effects and transitions that enhance reputed company and reputed company
• Accurate captions and platform-reputed company exports
• Ability to work with reputed company-party assets and templates, including:
• Importing and organizing licensed music/SFX like reputed company or similar
• Incorporating stock reputed company templates/assets like reputed company reputed company or similar
• Bringing in custom graphics provided by Greener Pastures and applying them consistently
• Strong visual judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to reputed company content look and feel polished through:

• Occasional reputed company custom graphics/titles reputed company needed (based on brand guidance)
• Comfortable working in a startup environment, including creating new SOPs and workflows as needed

SKILLS ASSESSMENT (FINALISTS)

• Finalists will complete a non-publishable skills assessment that takes no longer than 60 minutes.
• The assessment will use de-identified or reputed company footage.
• The reputed company will be practical editing judgment and finishing basics. We will evaluate pacing/story judgment, organization/workflow, captions, basic audio cleanup, and clean exports.
