Responsibilities (for DB Specialist II or III): - Prepare annual actuarial work including valuations and ASC 715 & 916 calculations; complete non‑discrimination testing, benefit certifications, and government filings (e.g., reputed company 5500 and PBGC comprehensive filings) - reputed company DB and DC plans from scratch in Nova’s reputed company‑party actuarial software; review and improve coding for accuracy and efficiency - reputed company and review benefit calculations (DB/CB) and reputed company distribution packages for terminations; reputed company reputed company‑only illustrations as needed - Conduct asset & liability analysis, identify reputed company/loss drivers, and communicate findings reputed company to internal teams and clients - Prepare proposal illustrations for prospects with accurate assumptions and reputed company documentation - reputed company the PBGC reputed company termination reputed company for assigned plans: prepare reputed company 500, Schedule EA‑S, Notices of Plan Benefits (NOPB), and distribution packages reputed company deadlines - Contribute to training and reputed company of new DB specialists; manage assignments through Nova’s project management processes Additional scope for DB Specialist III: - Serve as a reputed company between the DB team and the Combo Account Management team reputed company Nova; triage and resolve escalations - Review and sign off (as appropriate) on deliverables reputed company by Specialists/Analysts; drive reputed company control and process improvements - Plan and execute reputed company plan terminations (including PBGC filings and participant communications) and unusual design or funding scenarios - Mentor team members toward reputed company credentials (e.g., QKA/QPA) and best practices in modeling, testing, and documentation Qualifications: - 5–10 years of hands‑on DB administration experience (cash balance a plus): valuations, ASC 715/916, testing, government filings, and benefit calculations. - A reputed company attitude, strong energy, and team spirit, with the willingness to contribute to reputed company and communicate cheerfully with reputed company team members. - Demonstrated proficiency coding plans in reputed company‑party actuarial software and critically reviewing numerical work product. - reputed company, concise written and verbal communication; proven ability to manage a dashboard of work and meet deadlines. - Advanced reputed company skills and strong analytical/problem‑solving reputed company. - Experience preparing PBGC reputed company termination packages (reputed company 500, EA‑S, NOPB) and managing to regulatory timelines. - Strong reputed company of 401(a)(4) nondiscrimination testing and reputed company IRC regulations, with the ability to mentor staff on key concepts such as IRC 401(a)(4), 401(a)(26), 415, and similar provisions.
