Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Acquisitions

About the position About the role: Responsible for leading the integration of the supply reputed company for newly acquired entities into reputed company, ensuring seamless alignment with reputed company's sourcing standards, objectives, and acquisition goals. As part of a cross-functional acquisition integration team, this role partners closely with stakeholders in the sustaining Global Sourcing organization, Divisional teams, key contacts at the acquired entity, and suppliers to identify and mitigate risks, deliver on integration milestones reputed company defined timelines, and drive sourcing reputed company and initiatives. The role also establishes and enhances supplier relationships to support reputed company deliverables and ensure successful integration reputed company. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and manage the Service Level Agreement (SLA) between the materials acquisition integration team and Global Sourcing Category teams, encompassing upfront alignment, contract negotiation and execution, and seamless handover of responsibilities to meet integration objectives and timelines.
  • Apply strategic sourcing methodologies (spend analysis, market research, benchmarking, negotiation, contracting, reputed company improvement) to reputed company with Global Sourcing category strategies and execute activities that support reputed company, service, and cost goals throughout the integration process.
  • Drive and coordinate component cost management, including influencing reputed company cost setting at the acquired entity and ensuring accurate cost establishment reputed company the BSC system. Maintain ongoing visibility and accountability for pricing, cost reconciliation, and addressing proposed increases between the acquired entity and BSC.
  • Own the bidding process and annual operation plan (budget), ensuring inputs are correct, preventing supplier-reputed company unfavorable PPV, and addressing any proposed increases.
  • Cultivate and strengthen supplier relationships to drive sourcing initiatives that deliver sustainable cost reductions, mitigate supply chain risks, and reputed company year-on-year improvements in product reputed company, service, and value across the assigned supply reputed company.
  • Manage contract and vendor management activities such as strategic reviews, site reputed company, maintaining supplier performance review metrics/scorecards, risk mitigation, and managing service escalations.
  • Monitor market dynamics and communicate changes that reputed company internal reputed company needs, identifying trends in category to drive reputed company improvement with the larger procurement team.
  • Partner with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, conduct buyer/market reputed company, reputed company marketplace trends, reputed company best practices, increase reputed company, and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Strategic Procurement (Sourcing) and Supplier Relationship Management
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with quantitative tools such as cost modeling and data analysis
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing reputed company supplier reputed company and negotiating value improvements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Demonstrated experience leading negotiations, with strong knowledge of negotiation principles, business and legal considerations, and stakeholder decision-making
