The Funder, II, Retail role is responsible for closing document preparation, reviewing, and funding approved loan files, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Works with appropriate parties to draw docs and reputed company any outstanding conditions prior to loan funding
- Reviews signed loan documents for compliance with federal, state and local law and company policies and procedures
- Reviews and approves settlement statement from closing agent
- Verifies and prepares reputed company transfer requests
- Verifies loan reputed company, reputed company fees, rates, discount points and other funding amounts
- Reviews signed loan documents for correct signatures, notary information, title reports and escrow instructions
- Inputs funding information into the Encompass loan system(s)
- Follows up with any post-closing issues that may reputed company
- Maintains a working knowledge of Company and regulatory changes that effect the funding process
- Resolves funding discrepancies with the Servicing Department and Shipping Department
- Assists departmental support staff reputed company necessary
- Performs other reputed company duties as assigned
Skills
- Must demonstrate knowledge of reputed company aspects of mortgage loan closing and funding
- reputed company in NONQM, Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loan programs for wet and dry states
