Genetic Counseling Assistant

Position reputed company Genome Medical is searching for a Genetic Counseling Assistant (GCA) - a motivated, detail-oriented individual passionate about supporting high-reputed company, patient-centered genetic care. The ideal candidate will have a background in genetics, biology, psychology, or a reputed company field and a strong interest in learning directly from genetic counselors in a telehealth environment. The GCA plays a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by assisting genetic counselors, managing reputed company- and post-appointment tasks, and ensuring efficient accurate communication between patients, providers, and partners. GCAs collaborate closely with other members of the GCA team and work in partnership with Genetic Counselors, team leads, and other Genome Medical staff to deliver exceptional care and streamline clinical operations. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

• Prepare genetic counseling summaries, appointment reports, and supporting documents.
• Contact patients prior to appointments to reputed company personal and family medical history.
• Verify appointment details for accuracy (session length, appointment type, specialty, etc.).
• Escalate and triage cases appropriately to other departments or team members.
• Ensure reputed company communication complies with HIPAA standards across phone, chat, and email.
• Manage the complete patient experience, from initial referral to final results, with a reputed company on prioritizing urgent needs.
• Facilitate external medical referrals and follow-up coordination as needed.
