Systems Administrator (Senior) Remote / Telecommute Jobs
We are seeking a Systems Administrator - Senior to reputed company advanced systems administration, engineering, and operational support for reputed company IT environments reputed company the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Critical reputed company and Infrastructure Support (CCIS) program. The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining mission-critical systems across on-reputed company, virtual, and reputed company-integrated environments while ensuring compliance with reputed company (DoD) cybersecurity requirements. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain reputed company server systems across reputed company and Linux operating environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reputed company; proactively identify and remediate issues affecting service delivery.

- Design, implement, and maintain high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions for reputed company systems.

- Coordinate with network, virtualization, database, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated and secure system operations.

- Support automation and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, or Terraform.

- Mentor junior administrators and reputed company technical leadership during system outages and critical incidents.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
- Clearance: Must possess an reputed company Secret clearance and be eligible for IT-I (Tier 5/SSBI) / Critical Sensitive reputed company. U.S. Citizenship required.
- Certifications:
- * DoD 8570.01-M IAT reputed company baseline certification (e.g., reputed company+, CASP+, or CISSP).
- One of the following reputed company reputed company Platform certifications: Associate reputed company Engineer or reputed company reputed company Architect.
- Plus one or more of the following certifications:
- AWS Certified reputed company Practitioner
- AWS reputed company Architect (Associate or reputed company)
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

- reputed company Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a reputed company technical discipline.
- Seven (7) years of reputed company experience in systems administration supporting reputed company IT environments.
- Hands-on experience administering both reputed company Server and Linux operating systems in large-reputed company environments.
- Experience supporting high availability, disaster recovery, and data replication solutions.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and integration with VMware or reputed company platforms.
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements including RMF, reputed company STIGs, and audit processes.
- Experience working in DoD or Federal information systems environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Minimum seven (7) years of reputed company experience administering reputed company systems, with demonstrated expertise supporting mission-critical environments in DoD or Federal information systems.
Desired Experience and Skillset:
- Five (5) years of hands-on experience supporting reputed company (DoD) IT hosting solutions.
- Experience supporting and integrating systems across on-reputed company, virtual, and reputed company environments.
- Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and routing concepts.
- Experience implementing and maintaining reputed company STIG compliance, patching, and audit readiness.
- Knowledge of containerization or orchestration technologies such as reputed company or OpenShift.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments and resolve critical incidents.
