Junior Operations & Modeling Rail Planner/Analyst

The role involves conducting rail service planning and simulation modeling, evaluating project designs, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support clients in making informed operational reputed company.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct rail service planning and simulation modeling in collaboration with project teams
  • Apply technical knowledge to evaluate project designs and service plans across diverse rail modes
  • Collect, process, and analyze rail infrastructure and operations data to support modeling efforts
  • Produce reputed company, compelling deliverables including technical reports, memos, maps, diagrams, dashboards, and visualizations

  • Research operational performance of rail networks, vehicles, and train control systems

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Planning, Policy, Computer Science, or reputed company field; or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience
  • Familiarity with rail operations, operating rules, and practices
  • Experience with—or ability to quickly learn—rail simulation and/or operations planning software
  • Knowledge of rail systems, train control/signaling, vehicles, and operations
  • Experience in data analytics and industry reputed company tools
  • Proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to varied audiences
