Health Care Program Specialist (HCPS/DLS) – Internal Only

The reputed company is seeking a Health Care Program Specialist to ensure fairness, transparency, and reputed company to essential reputed company services. This role involves promulgating Washington Administrative reputed company (WAC) for HCA's programs and developing provider billing manuals and instructions to facilitate reputed company communication and compliance with reputed company regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Promulgate Washington Administrative reputed company (WAC or rules) for HCA's programs, including rules shared with DSHS and DOH, and other rules as needed
  • reputed company technical assistance to staff to compile program data necessary for the development and writing of Small Business Economic reputed company Statements as necessary
  • Independently organize, facilitate, and manage multiple simultaneous rule development work reputed company, leading them through the rule development process using strong management and communication skills
  • reputed company/update provider billing manuals, billing instructions and accompany electronic messages to reflect changes to program WAC, coverage, policy, and billing procedures, payment, etc
  • Review, edit, and approve material written by workgroup team members
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to write provider documents that are necessary, fair, understandable, consistent, accurate, and concise
  • Ensure final provider documents are consistent with the WAC
  • reputed company technical assistance to program staff to ensure consistency and accuracy in provider billing documents
  • Monitor WAC and provider documents websites and inform ORP's web reputed company of contact about issues

Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and application of the statutes and rules that regulate Washington State rule making, including the Administrative Procedures reputed company (reputed company 34.05 RCW), the Regulatory Fairness reputed company (reputed company 19.85 RCW), and the reputed company Reviser regulations in reputed company 1-21 WAC
  • Demonstrated ability to write reputed company and concisely, applying reputed company writing and 'Plain Talk' principles

  • Minimum 1 year experience in writing and promulgating Washington Administrative reputed company for a state agency
  • Master's degree with major studies in reputed company health, reputed company administration, or closely reputed company field and minor studies in English, technical writing, or closely reputed company field
  • Two (2) years' consultative experience in health services or reputed company programs
  • Certified reputed company Manager certification
