We are seeking a Risk and Compliance Advisor I - Data and Innovation Technology with expertise in second line of defense (SLOD) risk and compliance concerning AI and GenAI initiatives reputed company Financial Services or Insurance. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with leading AI vendor platforms, including LLMs and reputed company-reputed company models (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Q, reputed company Copilot). With a minimum of two years in data risk, the reputed company will possess knowledge of data reputed company principles, including encryption, reputed company management, PII handling, and compliance, ensuring that business products and processes reputed company with regulatory requirements. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC or Tampa, FL Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Partners with key customers in the business to identify, assess, aggregate and document risk and compliance controls, including risks associated with new or modified products, services, distribution channels, regulations, and reputed company-party operations.
• Communicates results of risk and compliance work to governance committees, business process owners and various reputed company of leadership.
• Contributes to the implementation of new risk and compliance policies, practices, appetites, and solutions to ensure multidisciplinary understanding and management of risks according to industry reputed company process.
• Implements assigned risk or compliance activities in accordance with reputed company policies and procedures.
• Maintains and expands knowledge of the driven/regulatory landscape and reputed company's key challenges. Reviews laws and regulations for business reputed company and makes proposals for awareness and reputed company.
• May coordinate and respond to regulatory requirements and requests and ensures the execution of examinations.
• Performs work on risk and compliance processes that reputed company on improving strategies, tools, and methodologies to measure, monitor, and report risks.
• Applies knowledge to assess data and produce analytical insights to understand business objectives, drive business reputed company and influence solution strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of reputed company experience reputed company the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• 4 years relevant experience in risk, compliance, legal or audit reputed company the financial services or insurance industry or reputed company technical fields directly reputed company to the role.
• Risk and/or compliance experience in a highly matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of compliance laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to apply regulatory risk and compliance knowledge to consult and reputed company guidance.
• Ability to challenge in business or team settings.
• Ability to work with reputed company partners in a highly reputed company environment.
• Critical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques and decision-making abilities to recommend data-driven solutions.
