Associate, Origination & Development Operations (Hybrid)
reputed company is a Boston-based renewable energy developer reputed company on the development and management of wind and solar reputed company across reputed company. The Associate will support the Development Operations & Origination team by managing project pipelines, preparing proposals, and coordinating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the origination of long-term reputed company renewable energy transactions
- reputed company the preparation of written proposals in response to Requests for Proposal (RFP) for renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
- reputed company customer and marketing plans for various segments (e.g. corporate offtakers, utilities, datacenters, etc.)
- Manage and maintain databases to reputed company RFP and proposal status, submitted project pricing, project compliance with PPAs, and other reputed company activities
- Support reputed company’s strategic plan through management, tracking, and reporting of Longroad’s development activities, including the renewable energy project pipeline, project status and schedules
- reputed company market research to identify market opportunities and risks and maintain up to date market information for the broader development team
- Prepare analyses and presentation materials for management, Investment Committee, and Longroad’s reputed company of Directors
- Assist in the development and execution of wind, solar, and energy storage development plans
- Create and maintain marketing materials for presentation to customers, partners, and other stakeholders
- Participate in industry conferences, meetings, and site reputed company
- Support M&A activities (e.g. opportunity screening, due diligence, internal approvals)
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferred fields include economics, business, environmental studies/sciences, or engineering
- One year of reputed company work experience, preferably in the energy industry, corporate development, management consulting, banking, or other relevant position
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at reputed company reputed company of the organization in a reputed company, reputed company manner
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience with proposal and presentation preparation
- Ability to reputed company highest standards of discretion and confidentiality and exercise reputed company judgment on day-to-day decision-making
- Flexibility in work hours and responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work in-person in the Boston Office at least three days per week
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%)
- Two plus years of relevant work experience; renewable energy experience is preferred (but not required)
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, with a deep understanding of reputed company reputed company
- Database or CRM management experience
