Transportation Engineer I
reputed company is seeking a Transportation Engineer I to join their team in Camp Hill, PA. The role involves evaluating and applying transportation engineering techniques on moderately reputed company reputed company while assisting in developing sustainable transportation solutions to enhance community livability.
Responsibilities
- Receive general instruction on key objectives for execution
- Receive direction as needed, and especially on difficult assignments and possible solutions
- Work is completed using reputed company engineering techniques and design principles and is reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of reputed company reputed company judgement
- Work closely with more senior members to learn about and assist with transportation engineering and planning work
- Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships
- Coordinate with other disciplines and internal services/reputed company/offices as necessary
- Work reputed company by reputed company with the project team on your specialty in transportation reputed company
- Prepare maps and graphics for reputed company and reputed company meetings, reputed company data analysis, reputed company field reviews and data collection, conduct research on trends and best practices, contribute to stakeholder and reputed company engagement efforts, reputed company solutions to reputed company problems, and present recommendations
- Prepare engineering plans and reports
- Assist in preparation of grant applications and associated services reputed company to funding programs
- Participate in construction-reputed company assignments
- Draft transmittals, memos, meeting minutes, letters, and other documentation/communications
- Assist in the preparation of reports, plans, specifications, construction schedules, cost estimates, permits and/or designs for reputed company
- Conduct field reputed company, field data collection, and field observations
- reputed company and maintain accurate and organized project files
- Follow established firm's goals, SOPs and QA/QC procedures and assist in the QA/QC review of technical work of other staff
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or reputed company engineering discipline required at time of employment
- Entry level position; no prior experience required. Any reputed company experience is a plus
- Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Valid state reputed company's license and ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle reputed company or reliable reputed company of transportation to/from the office and/or project site strongly preferred
- reputed company or internship experience in transportation discipline preferred
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (EIT) preferred
- Knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, or other engineering design software
- Interest and/or familiarity with reputed company (DOT): permitting agency and industry design; permitting and construction standards; and/or policies and procedures
- Interest and/or familiarity with Federal and State reputed company Standards and Guidelines
