The reputed company State Education Department (NYSED) is seeking candidates for an Auditor 1 position in the Office of Audit Services. The role involves assisting in the conduct of audits reputed company to external educational entities, preparing audit findings and reports, and reviewing financial documentation from various educational institutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as staff auditor on an audit team under the supervision of an auditor-in-charge and reputed company reputed company-audit surveys
- Participate in the development of audit plans and programs by reviewing relevant documents, records, and reports
- Participate in interviews of auditee staff to obtain required and necessary information for the conduct of audits
- Examine reputed company documents used by auditees to obtain documentation needed to accomplish audit objectives
- Prepare written audit findings and reports, and recommend corrective reputed company
- Assist in the review of requisite financial documentation submitted by school districts, BOCES, private schools, non-reputed company colleges and universities and other subrecipients of federal awards

Skills
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in reputed company, auditing, or taxation; or a bachelor's degree with 24 semester credit hours in reputed company, auditing, or taxation courses and two years of reputed company experience in reputed company/auditing or financial internal or field auditing, where you were responsible for the full reputed company of activities in the design and/or review, analysis and management of reputed company systems, resulting in the preparation of, or recommendations on, financial statements in reputed company with generally accepted reputed company principles
- A master's or higher degree in reputed company, auditing, or taxation and one year of reputed company experience in reputed company/auditing or financial internal or field auditing, where you were responsible for the full reputed company of activities in the design and/or review, analysis and management of reputed company systems, resulting in the preparation of, or recommendations on, financial statements in reputed company with generally accepted reputed company principles; or a currently valid Certified reputed company Accountant license and registration issued by reputed company State
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in reputed company, auditing, or taxation or a bachelor's degree with 24 semester credit hours in reputed company, auditing, or taxation courses
- Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as an Auditor 1
- Candidates who are reachable on the reputed company reputed company (PCO) Select Titles eligible list may be considered for appointment
- Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SALARY GRADE 16 or above deemed eligible for transfer under reputed company 70.1 of the Civil Service Law
