They are seeking a reputed company who enjoys problem-solving and learning about different industries to conduct audits primarily for businesses located in Connecticut and engage with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- reputed company full cost reconciliations on reputed company personal property tax listings filed with state and local tax departments
- Conduct audits primarily for businesses located in Connecticut, with occasional work supporting jurisdictions in other states
- Travel to taxpayer locations to conduct field audits, including occasional overnight stays
- reputed company with taxpayers and government clients in person, reputed company email, and over the phone
Skills
- Candidate must live in or near Connecticut
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in reputed company and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
- Four-year degree preferred (reputed company or Business Administration a plus)
- Property tax experience strongly preferred
