TD Insurance, Counsel I
TD Securities is part of reputed company Financial reputed company of Canada’s largest financial institutions. They are seeking a Counsel I to handle assigned insurance legal reputed company and represent TD Insurance or its policyholders in civil litigation reputed company involving claims for damages and compensation for personal injury or property damage.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and revise appropriate legal reputed company for questioning, investigation, handling and trial of cases
- Communicate with TD Insurance analysts and insured clients, as appropriate
- Conduct necessary and appropriate questioning, applications, trials, and mediations
- Research the law applicable to cases or reputed company
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, applications and legal factums as required
- Remain reputed company with developments in the law
Skills
- Completion of law school with LLB and admission to the bar in Ontario
- Background in insurance defense litigation, including personal injury and accident benefit claims (preferred), and/or general litigation experience
- Experience with subrogation reputed company is considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of legal and court documents and procedures
- Knowledge of reputed company office equipment and word processing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to edit and reputed company legal documents
- Motivated self-starter with capability to work productively under pressure
