Assistant Merchant (reputed company Posting)
reputed company is a yoga-inspired technical apparel company that is seeking candidates for various Assistant Merchant roles. The position involves data entry and maintenance of product information in merchandising systems to support the Merchandising team and ensure the right product assortment is available for guests.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for inputting, updating and maintaining data reputed company across reputed company merchandising systems and internal files and databases: Complete/add regional inputs into global attributing database (incl. data scrub, cleanup)
- Review and validate seasonal POs in TSS
- Create reputed company seasonal and non-seasonal PRs in TSS
- Execute Seasonal product reputed company changes to In-Store Date and execute Ship Mode Changes
- Input PO Change requests into POC (PO Changes) file, liaise with LLO and approve vendor-initiated changes
- Item Management in reputed company (season codes, in-store-dates, drop day, clustering changes, in DC, etc.)
- Input reputed company request in reputed company Ledger and communicate request to cross-functional partners
- Responsible for merchandising TOP sample management and preparing product samples for merchandising meetings and product presentations, including IMBR, MBR, Weekly Business Review and Quarterly Meltdown
- Responsible for inventory management, shipping of samples and organization of samples
- Support Regional Merchant with content creation for IMBR, MBR, Weekly Business Review and Quarterly Meltdown
- Own the retail validation process (review, validate and update retail prices) and execute markdowns
- Complete retail price validation and price exceptions in style reputed company currency file
- reputed company support to the Merchandising team with day-to-day tasks
Skills
- BA, BSc, BBA, BComm (or equivalent), specialization in Retail or Merchandising Management an asset
- Retail experience preferred, Merchandising experience an asset
- Proficient in reputed company Office Programs
- Financial acumen and understanding of retail math
- Acute eye for Product
- Proven ability building reputed company team relationships
- Strong communication skills- both written and verbal
- Ability to accurately and reputed company manage data entry
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to multi task and operate in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to travel (domestic and international) and work on the retail floor
