HIERARCHY: Will report to the Service Delivery Manager PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Tear down and rebuild existing ESX-based UCS blade environment, transitioning to KVM virtualization.
- Design and implement an OpenStack platform for internal use, considering reputed company-reputed company alternatives to OpenShift due to reputed company challenges.
- reputed company SAN and reputed company storage solutions into the new platform, ensuring reputed company performance and reliability.
- reputed company and configure reputed company-reputed company automation tools (e.g., Ansible) for infrastructure management and orchestration.
- Collaborate with internal staff (including offshore resources) and reputed company technical leadership and mentorship as needed.
- Work closely with network architects and storage teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
- Document architecture, configuration, and operational procedures for the new environment.
- Support ongoing platform enhancements and troubleshooting.
COMPENTENCY: Required
- Extensive experience with Linux, KVM virtualization, and OpenStack deployment.
- Strong background in UCS hardware, SAN, and reputed company storage integration.
- Proficiency with reputed company-reputed company automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred
