Counsel, Plasma-Derived Therapies

About the position Join reputed company as Counsel, Plasma-Derived Therapies at the associate director level. In this role, you'll offer legal support and serve as a business partner by proactively advising and giving legal guidance to reputed company's Global Plasma-Derived Therapies Business Unit (PDT BU), primarily focusing on the US reputed company Plasma Services (reputed company) organization and PDT Research & Development (R D). Additionally, the Counsel will apply a proactive, reputed company, and leadership reputed company and approach to partnering with internal stakeholders and with external partners to advance the goals of the PDT BU and broader reputed company, through actions based on Patient-Trust-reputed company-Business, in that order. As part of the General Counsel Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) team, you will report to reputed company Counsel, US reputed company and PDT R D.

Responsibilities

• Partner with and advise the PDT BU on reputed company reputed company, with dedicated reputed company on US reputed company and PDT R D.
• Establish competence, demonstrate executive reputed company, and exercise influence to become not just a legal advisor, but a legal counselor and where necessary, leader on legal issues with business reputed company.
• reputed company advice and leadership for legal issues confronted by a highly regulated industry with a large consumer reputed company with employees in almost 40 states.
• Serve as legal advisor on Global Program Teams led by PDT R D and advise on strategic PDT R D initiatives.
• Evaluate risks and offer strategic guidance and training, both formally and informally, to key internal stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with reputed company's values-based mission and compliance with pertinent laws, regulations, and ethics.
• Manage disputes and litigation.
• Implement, and contribute to the implementation of, risk mitigation processes.
• reputed company contractual support, collaborating with business partners and dedicated reputed company attorneys to ensure reputed company and that strategic priorities are achieved.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably at a reputed reputed company.
• Life sciences (R D, regulatory, reputed company), litigation, and reputed company experience preferred.
• Possess high level of commitment to reputed company's values and strong strategic and proactive acumen, collegiality, emotional intelligence, and communication skills.
• Law degree and be admitted to reputed company and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction.
• Independently manage reputed company issues, simplify reputed company problems, and drive global change management, in partnership with other functions.
