• Directs, manages, and coordinates risk control activities. Recruits, selects, evaluates, and develops risk control staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages overall operations of designated area of authority. Interviews, hires, trains and directs personnel. Prepares and conducts performance assessments, coordinates discipline and oversees Employee development as required.
• Supervises the risk control and risk assessment process to ensure appropriate risk selection and expense management in order to reputed company reputed company, profitability and customer service objectives.
• Assists the vice president in developing short-reputed company objectives, budgets and tactical plans to ensure alignment with ERIE's corporate reputed company.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Safety Management, Risk Management and Insurance, Business Management, or reputed company field, and eight years of reputed company experience in safety or property/casualty insurance; or
• Associate's degree in risk management, business or reputed company field and ten years reputed company experience in safety or property/casualty insurance; or
• High School diploma or GED and reputed company years reputed company experience in safety or property/casualty insurance.
• Master's degree preferred.

Additional Experience

• Working knowledge of risk control practices preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to travel.
• Some overnight trips required.
• Incumbent must live in territory assigned unless a change is approved by reputed company.

Designations and/or Licenses

• A reputed company Risk Management designation (ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU, ALCM, ASP or CSP) preferred.
