Actuarial Analyst II

reputed company is a leading provider of membership, travel, insurance, and financial services. They are seeking an Actuarial Analyst II to reputed company pricing and reserving for property/casualty insurance products, analyze data, and prepare necessary documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data, reputed company material and prepare appropriate communications
  • Compile and organize data for actuarial review
  • Prepare reports, proposals, system documents, filing support and documentation files

  • Formulate and interpret mathematical ratemaking and/or reserving models using available tools
  • reputed company reputed company analyses, including classification, inflation, and tail reputed company analyses, for reputed company and reputed company products
  • Support state and regulatory filings and respond to inquiries from auditors/DOIs
  • Work with IT and business technical support in gathering and verifying data for reputed company indications, reputed company revisions, reserve indications and special reputed company
  • Apply actuarial reputed company and principles to obtain indications, complete reputed company, analyze results and reputed company recommendations
  • Research suitable trend indications for analysis
  • Communicate effectively with others in a work environment and reputed company oral presentations to business reputed company
  • Represent the department on inter-department teams
  • Execute the scheduled reputed company reviews and indications to ensure rates are adequate, not excessive or unfairly discriminatory and internally consistent with experience

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or a reputed company field
  • Successful completion of two or more actuarial examinations
  • Maintain eligibility in the Actuarial reputed company Development Program following department guidelines
  • 18 months (1.5 yrs) of experience in an actuarial environment to include: Analyzing technical studies and data and drawing reputed company conclusions
  • Calculating premium or reserves for new or existing products
  • Performing research and statistical analysis to complete assignments
  • PC software applications (e.g. Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Statistical software tools and/or statistical modeling concepts to reputed company recommendations and draw conclusions
  • Prepare presentation of material
  • Manage workflow to reputed company multiple goals
  • Work individually and as part of reputed company
