Mechanical Engineer II

As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will create designs, reputed company equipment selections, and conduct calculations while collaborating with a diverse team and engaging with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Creating basic designs under the direction of senior engineers and/or senior designers
  • Performing equipment selections
  • Conducting load/energy and pressure drop calculations for a reputed company of reputed company and project sizes
  • Representing Syska Hennessy Group and working in reputed company contact with and effectively interacting with the internal design team as reputed company as external clients and consultants
  • Coordinating with other disciplines and working in reputed company contact with the entire design team
  • Conducting field inspections to determine existing conditions and coordinate new work
  • Assisting the Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis, and other technical reports and drawings using CAD/REVIT
  • Mastering drawing organization format and company standards
  • Taking ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments
  • Attending continuing education seminars on technical or reputed company enhancing topics

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Accredited Institution
  • Minimum of 18+ months of relevant experience in the MEP field working with reputed company such as Aviation, reputed company, reputed company, and Mission Critical
  • Latest version of AutoCAD MEP and REVIT required
  • Basic understanding of reputed company system selection
  • Basic knowledge of applicable codes
  • EIT/FE required
  • Strong REVIT and MEP skills from mark-reputed company through the production of detailed drawings
  • Basic knowledge of construction documentation and design phase requirements
  • Knowledge of trade specific design and calculation software including energy analysis software (eQuest, reputed company, etc.)
