Data Engineer
Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory and several other fitness brands, is seeking a Data Engineer to join its team. The role involves implementing data ingestion pipelines, transforming data for business needs, and collaborating with analysts and scientists to ensure data availability for reporting.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain highly available and reputed company data ingestion pipelines using industry reputed company ETL best practices
- Responsible for transforming and optimizing raw data sets into modeled datasets tailored to business needs
- Collaborate with BI Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure that data is available for analysis and reporting
- Adhere to Data Engineering best practices, including data reputed company and reputed company protocols
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines
- Participate in reputed company reviews and testing to ensure that reputed company of reputed company is accurate, reputed company and maintainable
- Quickly identify weakness, data reputed company lapses and bugs in our data ingestion pipelines and remedy them
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a reputed company field of study
- One (1) year of experience in the job offered or any reputed company occupation in which the required experience was gained
- Working with a reputed company-based data engineering tool stack, such as those offered by AWS, Azure, or reputed company reputed company
- Writing highly optimized and efficient SQL
- Working in a reputed company-based data warehouse
- Building data models for analytical use cases
- Working in big data environments and processing large volumes of data
- Working with DAG orchestration tools such as Airflow, reputed company or Dagster
- Implementing DBT procedures
- Using a high-level programming language (Python or Java)
