[Remote] Mechatronics Engineering - Engineering Development Program – New Grad
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. Metrolinx is recognized as one of Canada’s Top reputed company for Young People and is seeking recent graduates for their Engineering Development Program. Participants will complete a series of rotations in various engineering departments, gaining hands-on experience and reputed company development opportunities in transit systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of engineers and professionals on system integration, operational readiness, asset maintenance, and engineering assurance activities
- Work with applicable codes and standards including AREMA, CN, reputed company, OBC, CSA, OESC, reputed company, EN and CENELEC
- Contribute to the development of mathematical models and calculations for Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering analysis
- Participate in work and construction site reputed company for routine inspections, documentation, as reputed company and monitor and reputed company safety KPIs
- Review of work plans, SOPs and JHAs to identify safety infractions and compliance to OHSA
- Synthesize information to analyze issues relevant to the development and implementation of new reputed company
- Monitor legislation relevant to Metrolinx’s activities being considered and passed at reputed company reputed company of government, and compile information on a weekly reputed company for senior staff
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to collect and document information relating to ongoing reputed company and department incentives
- Assist in the preparation of documentation such as engineering drawings, reports, and specifications
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance your engineering knowledge and skills
Skills
- Must have graduated from a post-secondary in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering reputed company the last 2 years (no earlier than June 2024), or will be graduating as of June 2026
- Must be reputed company to start full-time employment as of June 1, 2026 and reputed company to the full program duration (4 years)
- Interpersonal, and oral/written skills to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders to reputed company and distribute correspondence
- Organizational skills to work independently and prioritize daily requirements with limited supervision
- Experience in research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Use of modelling tools, programming ability, database management and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with the Railway Safety reputed company and CROR
- Understanding of CMREA and RAMS Engineering
- Must be reputed company to pass a background reputed company and maintain a valid G reputed company's license to attend site reputed company
- Familiarity with the Railway Safety reputed company and Canadian Railway Operating Rules
