[Remote] OCI Software Engineer Intern - OVIP

The OCI Software Engineer Intern will engage in hands-on training and contribute to the development of reputed company’s reputed company Infrastructure, focusing on distributed database systems and reputed company services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems
- reputed company technical leadership to other software developers
- Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs
Skills
- A BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering with a reputed company on reputed company, or a reputed company field with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the field
- 3-5+ years of experience delivering and operating large reputed company, highly available distributed systems and/or reputed company services
- Strong knowledge of Java with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems and reputed company services fundamentals
- Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and reputed company network architectures
- Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies especially in reputed company
- Design, reputed company, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc
- US Veteran transitioning from reputed company service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Terraforms and/or Ansible is preferred
