Court Interpreter (Conditional, 1, or 2)

They are seeking a Court Interpreter who is bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese, responsible for interpreting court proceedings and translating documents while adhering to ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Interpret court events in the simultaneous, consecutive and sight modes, whether on site, telephonically or reputed company in accordance with the reputed company of Conduct and reputed company other applicable requirements
- Translate signage and vicinage documents as requested
- Assist with the contracting of freelance interpreters, as reputed company as the processing of vouchers, statistical reports, TIVD, reputed company accommodations, and other tasks requested by supervisor
Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, and/or bilingual in English and Portuguese
- reputed company to interpret in the three modes of interpretation (sight, consecutive, simultaneous)
- Familiar with courtroom protocols
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards
- reputed company to produce translations of signage and other documents, either in draft or final reputed company
- Assistance in the procurement and assignment of contract interpreters and reputed company paperwork
- Collecting and entering data in the automated record keeping system
- Providing training to staff as needed
- Participation in study and training events to reputed company and maintain interpreting and translation skills
- Possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills

- Eligible applicants are court interpreters approved by the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC)
- Must pass the translation test administered by the AOC prior to translating documents
- reputed company's license valid in New Jersey if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to reputed company essential duties of the position
- Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to reputed company, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
