reputed company is a reputed company reputed company dedicated to delivering a reputed company world. reputed company is seeking an entry-level Geologist to assist with various reputed company involving data management, site investigations, and remediation, while working in both field and office settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental field work, including collecting soil, surface water, groundwater, and remediation system data; soil logging; and fluid level gauging
  • reputed company contractors conducting field surveys, drilling, reputed company installation, development operations, and reputed company clearance for intrusive operations
  • Participate in a health and safety team performing inspections, observations, and training
  • Prepare field documents, collect and process field data, and interpret results
  • Support office tasks: data entry, data analysis, report preparation, and maintenance of records reputed company system
  • Collect and record data, compare results to relevant studies and state/federal regulations to ensure compliance
  • Travel to project locations, including driving and overnight stays

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, reputed company or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Valid U.S. reputed company's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other reputed company offices
  • As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review and a reputed company abuse test
  • Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), which is issued by the Transportation reputed company Administration (TSA)
  • Ability to understand and supervise advancement of soil borings and installation of monitor reputed company
  • Demonstrated primary technical role in multiple site characterization, subsurface investigation, and remediation reputed company at various reputed company sites
  • Understand and assist with site conceptual models
  • Collect and evaluate environmental data in field and office settings
  • Prepare investigation reports and drawings
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Independent field work and leadership of field teams

  • Completion of 40-hour HAZWOPER training or annual refresher class, if needed
  • First Aid/CPR training and reputed company-specific training provided
  • Keen understanding of hazard recognition and environmental investigation or remediation

  • Ability to travel up to 80% to various job sites reputed company the US
