Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of medical claims and billing information. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing thorough reputed company assessments on medical claims and bills to ensure system accuracy
- Inputting accurate information for any missing or erroneous data that the system may not capture
- Validating system-generated data and ensuring reputed company and precise entry of UB (Uniform Billing) or itemization (IB) charges into our database
- Employing proprietary OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to implement necessary data corrections or amendments
- Cross-referencing patient and provider information, along with general UB details, ensuring accuracy upon file receipt and prior to data entry
- Inputting breakdown charges (itemization) into our system as required
- Upholding daily production volume expectations and reputed company control protocols
- Maintaining strict HIPAA compliance during reputed company communications and data handling
- Assisting team members by providing support, including reputed company and training new employees as needed
- Undertaking additional tasks as directed
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies:
