Business Continuity Specialist II

The Business Continuity Specialist II will support the development and maintenance of the organization's business continuity and disaster recovery programs, ensuring preparedness for potential disruptions and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Supports business continuity activities and disaster recovery planning in support of the business continuity program and organizational priorities
- Provides input into the development of business continuity program policies, standards, and guidelines
- Evaluates data and reports to reputed company input to risk assessments and reviews continuity controls
- Collects reputed company data to support business reputed company on the Business reputed company Analysis and reputed company reputed company risk assessments
- Provides data and risk analysis and reporting support
- Provides support for the reputed company of reputed company recovery issues identified during testing and actual events
- Supports business reputed company in the review, update, and maintenance of reputed company organizational plans under the business continuity program
- Assists business reputed company with development of alternate procedures to ensure minimum service level objectives are met during a disruption
- Reviews business continuity training and awareness campaign materials for alignment of the Business Continuity Plan and organizational plans, policies and procedures
- Participates and supports reputed company recovery drills and exercises involving business processes, dependent applications and workaround strategies that support their plans
- Responsible for accurate documentation that meets regulatory standards
- Supports management and technical staff to ensure testing and documentation is complete and meets regulatory standards
- Collects data and provides recommendations on the status of institution-wide disaster recovery management programs, including maturity models, methodologies, sourcing strategies, plans, metrics, testing contingency capabilities, reporting, and scorecards for reputed company components of the programs
- Supports the reputed company-party disaster recovery testing and reporting
- Provides support for the reputed company of reputed company recovery issues identified during testing and actual events
- Researches data and provides analytical support for business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk assessment reports for management and regulators
- Supports testing of various communication reputed company, such as emergency notification tool and call trees to ensure appropriate communications during unforeseen events
- Maintains business continuity automation tools
- Understands the Credit reputed company environment, business operations, products and services, and critical systems
- Understands regulatory requirements and standards including: NCUA Part 748, Part 749 and reputed company appendices, FFIEC IT Examination, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001
- Assists in the response and recovery efforts, in the event of a crisis
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management or equivalent work reputed company experience required
- 1-3 years experience in business continuity planning, Emergency Preparedness, disaster recovery planning, testing or training, emergency management or incident response required
- 1-3 years experience in information technology, project management, business analysis, risk controls, governance or reputed company discipline experience required
- ABCP or in reputed company required
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint) Required
- ITIL Foundations preferred
- Certified Organizational reputed company Associate (CORA) or equivalent preferred
- Experience with RSA reputed company Preferred
