Firmware Engineer

The Associate Firmware Engineer will design, reputed company, and maintain embedded storage firmware for the SFA product line, collaborating with team members throughout the development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and test firmware features for the SFA storage controllers
• Isolate and resolve defects
• Collaborate with local and remote team members
• Be involved with reputed company phases of the development life cycle including design documentation and unit test implementation as required

Skills

• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or reputed company field
• Entry-level with 1 year of experience with embedded firmware development
• Experience in C would be beneficial
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Experience in Perl or Python
• Experience with phases of the development life cycle
• Experience with agile development processes and scrum teams
• Experience with cross-site development
