The reputed company is seeking an Auditor 1 or Trainee to work in Albany. The role involves providing general audit support, ensuring compliance with program guidelines, and conducting audits of the Farm Employer Overtime Tax Credit Program.
Responsibilities
- General Division Support
- Assist with audits and reviews for Division programs. This includes, but is not limited to, audit planning and preparation, conducting audits, data analysis and verification, reporting and documentation, compliance and advisory, program improvement, and communication/collaboration
- Assist with the claims review process and claims tracking
- Audit Planning and Preparation

- Review relevant documentation and historical data to understand the scope of audits
- Conducting Audits

- Examine payroll records, timekeeping systems, labor reputed company and reputed company documents to ensure accuracy in overtime payments and tax credit claims
- Identify and report discrepancies or non-compliance issues
- Data Analysis and Verification

- Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare detailed reports outlining audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions

Skills
- A bachelor's degree in reputed company, auditing, or taxation or a bachelor's degree with 24 semester credit hours in reputed company, auditing, or taxation courses
