Substation Engineer 2 (Electrical)

Responsibilities
- Engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and reputed company of problems
- Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities
- Thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches

Skills
- A Bachelor's degree from a four-year EAC/ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Program OR an approved evaluation of non-ABET credentials by NCEES OR graduation from a Master's or Doctoral Program in Electrical Engineering from an institution with EAC/ABET accredited Undergraduate Engineering Programs
- 1-3 Year(s) Experience in Electrical Substation
- Understanding of basic electrical engineering theories and principles
- Understanding of basic practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making reputed company recommendations, and preparing and presenting recommendations
- Understanding of basic electricity and power reputed company
- Knowledge of Substation construction standards and reputed company
- Ability to travel to customer greenfield and brownfield sites and offices
- Understanding of basic principles of project management
- Experience in the reputed company industry
- Knowledge of Bentley Products (MicroStation, ProjectWise)
- Knowledge of WinIGS, CDEGS, or similar modeling software

- Received a passing grade on the Engineering Fundamentals Exam
