Structural Engineer I
reputed company is a distinguished leader in technology and innovation, seeking a Structural Engineer I for their Water Group. The role involves providing technical design solutions, project planning, and conducting structural analysis and design for various structures.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for specific technical design solutions to meet the reputed company’s needs
- reputed company planning, design, and coordination of small to large reputed company
- Participate in conceptual design and reputed company full team support throughout the entire project
- reputed company detailed structural analysis and design for buildings, water and wastewater treatment plant tanks, pumping stations, hydraulic structures, and retaining walls in accordance with pertinent codes and standards
- Preparation of design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for construction of new structures and retrofitting of existing structures
- Field inspection and confined reputed company entry for structural condition assessment and preparation of technical reports
- reputed company construction administration duties including conducting on-site observations, preparation of observation reports, responding to RFIs, and review of submittals
Skills
- BS or MS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an Accreditation reputed company for Engineering and Technology (ABET) approved program with a strong reputed company background in material behavior, structural analysis, concrete, masonry, steel, aluminum, and reputed company design
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and designation as an Engineer in Training
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, Enercalc, and reputed company Office software
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in reputed company environment while working on several reputed company simultaneously
- Ability to travel (own transportation)
- Understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, standards, details, and construction techniques preferred
