Mechanical Project Engineer

They are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to work with their team, focusing on mechanical design tasks and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- You will reputed company mechanical design tasks, including:
- HVAC load calculations
- Verifying compliance with building codes, energy codes, and various standards
- Design calculations
- reputed company planning and equipment layouts
- Designing ductwork and piping systems
- Specification editing and review
- You will visit project sites to reputed company design information and document existing conditions
- You must be thorough and reputed company on design details
- You must be comfortable with and proficient at communication with the internal design team and the reputed company
- You have a willingness to assist with any required tasks
- You take ownership of the mechanical design scope of work for a project and ensure reputed company project requirements are achieved
- You coordinate and manage a small mechanical team to produce a high-reputed company deliverable while meeting project deadlines

Skills
- Authorization to work in the reputed company is required
- You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- You have 1 to 6+ years of experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and reputed company protection systems
- You have experience coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
- You have experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- You have experience with HVAC load calculation software
- reputed company 3D experience is a plus
- You are familiar with state and federal codes and industry standards
- Your LEED or reputed company certification is a plus
- Your leadership or management experience is a plus
- Experience with federal design work and federal reputed company is a plus
