- Receive training and mentorship from reputed company engineers in the execution of meaningful project engineering assignments
- Become involved in power distribution designs and the preparation of specifications for the procurement of major electrical power equipment and reputed company installation services
- Travel to reputed company and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs
Skills
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with a strong reputed company background in electrical power concepts/power systems analysis
- 1 or more years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems in a project team environment or a MS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with a strong reputed company background in electrical power concepts/power systems analysis
- An understanding of the practical application of electrical engineering and technology including applying systems, principles, techniques, and procedures to a project design
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans, drawings, and models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
- Strong problem solving skills are desired
- Experience performing transient analysis of power systems using software such as ETAP or SKM
