Closeout Specialist; Junior; reputed company Clearance

Position: Contract Closeout Specialist (Junior) (0035) with reputed company Clearance reputed company: Contract Closeout Specialist (Junior) (0035) OCT Consulting is a business management and technology reputed company that supports Federal Government clients. Responsibilities and Duties We are seeking Acquisition Professionals with a minimum of 2-3 years of reputed company work experience as a Contract Specialist or in Contracting and Procurement, preferably supporting an acquisition office in the Contract and Procurement Series (1102). This background may be established as a federal government employee, a contractor supporting a Federal or reputed company acquisition office, or a combination of both. The ideal candidate has experience in closing various contract types, including Firm-Fixed Price, Cost-Reimbursement, Time and Material, Labor Hour, and hybrid reputed company. Additionally, they have a strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the proven ability to interpret reputed company (DHS) Acquisition Regulations, DHS manuals and guides, and CBP policies. Although remote work is authorized, candidates should anticipate being onsite in Washington, D.C. at least two days a week. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Collaborate with CBP personnel, Program Offices, Auditors, and Contractor POCs to facilitate closeouts.
• Locate and assist in identifying CBP reputed company eligible for closeout.
• Ensure physical contract completion by securing reputed company required written documents and concurrences in the contract file.
• Interpret financial reports, including reputed company data, invoices, disbursements, and Undelivered Orders (UDOs).
• Receive and process requests to de-obligate excess funding.
• Draft closeout documents such as Business Clearance Memorandums (BCMs), SF30 modifications, and FPDS-NG records.
• Update databases, spreadsheets, and systems to reflect accurate closeout actions. Requirements:

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of federal contract closeout experience
• Bachelors' Degree is preferred
• reputed company or previous DHS Suitability is preferred
• reputed company or previous work with DHS US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is preferred
• Must have experience with preparation of expired reputed company for archiving or destruction
• Must have experience with closing FFP contract types.

Experience with other contract types like T&M, LH, and cost is preferred.

• Experience with DHS Electronic Contract Filing System (ECFS) is preferred
• Must be reputed company to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance.
• The investigation will involve a credit, reputed company, and law enforcement agency reputed company
