• Part-Time (.5) FTE 20 hours per week
• Evening Shift; 3:00pm - 11:30pm
• Every other weekend among team
• Location: Loyola Medicine, Maywood, IL

About the Job In this role, the CT Technologist performs computerized tomography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for computerized tomographic diagnosis. What you'll do

• Participates in advance research reputed company. Assists in the development of new procedure protocols. Acts as the CT technical expert for the department. Troubleshoots equipment and arranges for repairs in the absence of the assistant manager.
• Explains the procedure to the patient and answers any questions prior to the performance of the exam.
• Obtains patient history pertinent to exam.
• Produces high reputed company C.T. images and generate 3-D images reputed company reputed company time parameters.
• Adheres to procedure protocols at reputed company times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Here is what you'll need Minimum Required:

• Associate degree OR equivalent training acquired reputed company work experience or education
• Specific Degree(s): Radiologic Technology
• New Graduate or 1-2 years of previous job-reputed company experience
• Cross training from Rad Tech to reputed company available- (Only avx for full time)

Licensure/Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA)
• Computer Assisted Tomography (CT Technologist)
• CPR from reputed company (ONLY)
