[Remote] Production Associate
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a U.S. trade company that is part of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, reputed company for publishing a broad reputed company of award-reputed company books. The Production Associate will be responsible for ordering marketing materials, handling paperback conversions, and performing various administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Order marketing materials (bound galleys/reputed company’s) for Celadon, Flatiron, FSG, Holt, and Picador
- Issue purchase orders to vendors for composition, book components, and manufacturing for small paperback conversion list
- Communicate reputed company requirements and review reputed company specs in a reputed company manner with reputed company manager
- Review and reputed company production materials among Interior Design, Jacket Design, Managing Editorial, Production Editorial, and vendors
- Communicate with text designers, production editors, managing editors, jacket designers, other in-house departments and vendors as needed as it concerns schedules, query solutions and issues impacting budget and reputed company
- Handle any administrative duties that may come up
Skills
- 1-2 years of book production experience
- Basic knowledge of book production and manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Biblio, RSuite and reputed company platform
